24p New Flesh Stills (night\car\dialogue)

Sorry they're a bit choppy, my adobe premiere won't export stills correctly (says something about audio channels, i don't know but it's pissing me off). so i had to print screen and resize in photoshop. Seriously sorry, but the movie is much sharper, much clearer, and so far on my external monitor (a small 19 inch television), it looks seriously stunning.

any comments and questions welcome and appreciated, thanks guys.

Hope it doesn't matter that I did this for you.

And speaking of the grabs. I think they were very grainy and looked very videoish. Is there only one light source there?

thanks for that. it looks grainy and such because my premiere won't properly export the stills, so i have to print screen and paste into photoshop. i have other stills from other days of shooting, that look clear as day at twice the size.

can you explain why 24pA images (even the video) look like that on the computer...like pixelated and stuff? none of my 24pA footage ever looks completely clean...

Hey Reluctant... you might want to try working a bit on the lighting... it's seriously bright in that car for a night shot, and it's completely dark outside( at least it looks that way to me in the images).

Did you just find out HTML coding and want to show off? Haha.

Grabs have no value - no depth. They're nice but what are they of? Go into detail.

The only problem I have with the stills is that the light doesn't look very naturalistic(If that's what your going for), It makes me think that the guy is sitting with a 300w lamp in his lap. Again, if your going for dramatic lighting(wich it gets when your lighting from underneath) then it could work, but i can't imagine that the car panel or something from the outide would contain that amount of hard light. I think some defusion would help.

mine either, though I suspect it is a lighting issue.

must be the pulldown function....it's just being funky psychodelic.

No, just a large amount of grain. Looks like it was shot with ISO 1600 film. I just cant get the smooth (I don't mean shutter speed), noiseless look so many others can.
