24p mixed with 24pa

I'm going to guess this has already been asked but searching for it was hard. I own a dvx100a and am shooting a friends fashion show, but i'm trying to get my hands on a second camera and the only camera i can get is the regular dvx100 but i would like to shoot in 24pa. Now if i shoot in regular 24p what would be the best method for using it on a 23.98 timeline ( the dvx100 will be my B camera for cutaways and extra footage so that footage wont be seen a lot). Should i convert it in cinema tools to 23.98 or should i just leave it as is.

I heard you can do two way for editing 24p footage, (from C2V)

you can either edite on 29.97 timeline
or remove the pulldown and edite on a 23.97 timeline.

but for 24pa footage, you have to edite on a 23.97 timeline.

Yes. And this is what you should shoot if you MUST edit as 29.97.

No, you don't have to.. But you should. It won't give the best result if you edit as 29.97.

i think im slowly becoming more and more stupid, it certainly does and a quick google search proved me wrong (and to be an idiot). sorry i guess this thread was a waist.
