24p capture problems

I shot some footage today, a little 24pA test. Everything looks good but when i drop my newly captured footage into the time line, it registers as unrendered and you previously said that footage that has just been captured should not need to be rendered. Any thoughts on that?
 
make sure ur timeline sequence is 23.98, and u REMOVE the 2:33:2 pulldown, (i think you can do this in the sequence setting), or u can remove the pulldown during capture (command 8, or control 8) in final cut, and go to ur setting and go remove 2:3:3:2 advanded pulldownj removal (soemthing liek that) and you should be fine
 
the second one down titled "Capture Preset".....well its on dv ntsc 48 khz, you should have the remove advanced pulldown, so click that tab, and i think its the second one, calle something like "remove advanced 2:3:3:2 pulldown removal

everything else looks good..
