I just shot a documentary in 24p on the DVX100. I have had this camera for about 3 years and have never used this feature till now. After shooting the majority of the footage, one of the crew members claimed it was a bad idea and that 24p looks like crap on the big screen and that last time he used it, there was an audio sync problem while editing (but they supposedly fixed that) and also after they dubbed it to tape the audio drfted as well.
I think that maybe the people he was dealing with didn't know what they were doing.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Can anyone vouch for the way this camera looks on the big screen after shooting on 24p? (NOT 24pA)
I shot it with a 1/24th shutter on as well....Do you think that will be a problem? Most of the footage shot so far is an interview and I will be shooting the rest of it in a few weeks that will be more action oriented. Should I change the setting for this?
Can anyone help me with some info?
Thanks
