Hey forum - could someone verify or unverify my steps for me?
I've got a project shot 24p Advanced and want to create a progressive DVD.
1) Output quicktime reference file
2) Import into TMPG Express
3) It sees it as progressive, but has either 16:9 pixel and 16:9 display - i'm not sure what the difference is. (?)
4) After encoding take the MPEG into TMPG's (or another) DVD burning application. TMPG's again has the 16:9 pixel vs. 16:9 display distinction which i really do not get.
5) And then voila?
Question: are there any special settings for you TMPG users that tell the DVD to play correctly whether the TV is 4:3 or 16:9? Or special tweaks to make it look better?
Also, is TMPG good or is something like Canopus better?
THANKS!
