Hi, I really need help before i start editing a short doc.
I captured all the footage on PPro 1.5, on a 29,97 timebase project, set to wide, from my HC42 sony handcam.
I dont need to edit in widescreen, but you´ll get it : i have 3 diff camera footage : sony hc42 - wide + xl1 wide + dvx 24p letterbox . When i started trimming, i realized dvx footage need to render, while hc42 material and xl1 material was all right and no render needed. But PPro tells me that the dvx footage is 23,97, and i want it to be 29,97. Should i recapture it using dvx 100? My PPro capture was wrong? Im having those color flickring problems on dvx material. On the tape (playing from my hc42) is right. Motion and color beautiful, but in computer, not perfect. My goal is broadcast resolution, 4:3, letterboxed. I dont want to edit in 24p, but i want to keep dvx beautiful color and motion. Thanks.
