24P, 30P or else?

Hello. Happy 100B user with one question:

I will probably NEVER go to inflate my footage on real film so... To have a clean, easy to shot and edit base "platform" what setting do you recommend?

Yesterday I had a enlightenment such to base ALL my productions on 30P to not have any pulldown and still have a Progressive footage while, may be, mantaining a film look...

Is this a wise choice?

Pros, cons?

The two main drawbacks to 30p are film out and PAL conversion. If you're not planning on doing either one of those, 30p is great.

Hello fellow Gaijin, If shooting in 30pa gives you the look you want then no need to ask this question right?

To me 30pa still looks a tad too videoish, but ask anyone on these boards, shooting in 24pa with correct lighting and pro camera moves i.e. dollies, cranes, tripod pans and lets not forget steadicam, will give you a very filmic product, much more than 30pa can.
