24A panning different than 24P?

I was looking at some tapes from a few motnhs back, 4 days were shot 24P and 1 24A. The 24A material was done outside and had some pans that gave me alot of weird giggling lines when panning(tree branches, grass, leaves, ect).
None of the stuff shot 24P had that.

I was shooting with the OSI on, too, for both.

I've shot some 24A since, mostly Interior stuff at night and all artificial lighting.

I'm a novice. Am I missing something? I didn't notice the giggling when I first reviewed the footage but it's really obvious now.

Any info would be much appreicated. Thanks

I've never heard the term giggling lines, but there are two things possibly to blaim.
First OIS. If you are on a tripod and panning, this can give bad results
second 24pA material is meant to be seen with the pulldown removed. Place the clip on a 24p timeline with a 24p capable NLE and you should see better results.
