24 - Season 6

I liked the first 2 episodes of season 5 which just started here in Finland.

oh, wait... :(

- Mikko ... marks this as another thread full of spoilers he can't read.

I am a huge 24 fan. Watched since Season 1.

Since there aren't spoiler tags on this forum, I suppose I shouldn't comment too much on my predictions so close to the beginning of this thread...

But I will take a moment to make a shameless plug for my own forums, on which I'm trying to start a 24 section. So I'll just post my comments there later on and everyone can just read them there, if interested.

Feel free to sign up and post...

Meanwhile, I'll just hijack this thread with a question: how many 24 fans out there watch Prison Break? I started watching after 24, and got hooked pretty fast...

Ok, back to 24:

Anyone hear the rumors regarding the 24 movie? I'd heard that Sutherland had signed on to make one, but haven't heard if there are any details on when it's coming or what it will be about.

I've long been suggesting that an ideal marketing ploy would simply to make the last two hours of the season into the film, and release it in theaters instead of on television. I for one would pay the $8 just to see how the "day" ends...

Agreed... I had thought that if Kiefer Sutherland ever left the show, the only way it could keep going was with Tony's character as the lead. I'm guessing Sutherland's salary went up after Tony's "departure...'

I personally despise Prison Break... really lame show... and the editing... man, so many continuity errors in the editing... with 24 I don't notice, because of the fast pacing... anyway, back to 24... :):)

No words can describe how much this is one of my top 2 tv series's of all time. [Missed season 4]

3 "Main characters" who went first episode of season 5. Made it a great series. Although completly ruined things for the future. Good actors/actresses.

Still though, cant wait.....4 more days

I'm another '24' fanboy!

Really looking forward to Season 6 on Sunday night. Been following everything since the very beginning. A great show, not matter how ridiculous it may get at times. The team does a helluva job keeping it going. Always full of surprises. except that you always expect it to be full of surprises!

There is going to be a '24' movie. At least it is in development. It will not be real-time (obviously) but it will take place in the same world with the same characters we've come to love. Jack Bauer is positioned to be the American "James Bond" in this new series of films. I saw this on C-SPAN last year - the cast/crew where being interviewed for about an hour.

Regarding 'Prison Break,' I've seen a few episodes here and there. It's ok. I've just refused to become addicted to it like '24' because that show is far too life-consuming. I become its slave and plan my schedule around. Ha! :)

VERY clever.

Ok folks, keep this in mind when posting spoilers to anything. Color the text to match the background and tell us to highlight.

Just set one of them to my new background. Wow I seriously can't wait. Can I ask how you managed to get all that info/see those episodes? I havn't highlighted the text to read it. Go Will Power!

Have you guys seen the teaser? trailer where the guys sitting down on the couch. Making sure everythings perfect, unplugging phone lines etc? That's me.

Though I wish that the 4 hour premier was on Saturday/Sunday instead of Sunday/Monday. I won't be able to think straight on monday..though i guess it will make me want to get home quicker..hmm.

By the way. Agree with the highlighting thing. Very clever and ..well clever. If it was in plain text I would have so read it. So thanks!
