Shot with a Sony HDR-HC1 on a fig-rig. First time using Final Cut Studio 2 for editing.

Do post your comments and questions. It was certainly an interesting experiment.

Wow, the guy doing the voice-over has a really good speaking voice. He was great!
Like you said, it was very interesting. It was kind of eerie, and some of the camera work in the forest reminded me of a blair-witch type set-up. My only problem was that it was way too dark. It was hard to make out a lot of what was going on. So next time, shoot in more light!
It was an interesting film though. Props to the voice-over guy!

Abinc,

thank you for the comments. I was having the most trouble with the hooded figure shots. We were shooting in a studio, with a single clippy-light (red bulb, no gell) and i was still learning the camera. It was hard to get a difined image on such little light and in the color we shot in, and I couldnt find the a dial to correct the Iris for what I needed. Perhaps that would have helped? Otherwise, with limited resources, we only got what we could out of the low-lit Alaskan evening (which was also with out a moon *g*)

It defvinatley takes on the blair-witchy look to it, though hey, you can say that about any footage of people rushing through the woods. lol.

thanks again,

Woodruff
