GH2 24 - 105mm on 7D outdoor wedding: Hood or ND6 + Polarizer

I can't do all three. I have the 77 - 82 step up and my filters are 82. I want to use ND to cut down on light and the polarizer to shape and effect the light and the hood to keep out flare, but alas, they don't all fit because it is too tight to manipulate the polarizer with the hood on; I can't even screw it on.

Should I go with the two filters and skip the hood? The filters with the step-up kind of act like a hood. Do I use the hood and skip the filters? 77mm filters would have been ideal on the 77mm lens, but I already have the 82mm ND6 and 82mm polarizer. Blah.

I decided on the 77 - 82 step with the ND6 and 82 polarizer for the 7D. Other camera is a GH2 with 14 - 140 and I decided on a 62 to 82 step with another 82 polarizer. Laters.

What I have done is used step up rings on all my lenses then bought a rubber lens hoods that mount on my ND and polarizer filters. This allows me to turn the rubber lens hood which turns the filters. With my 14-140 lens I can see the hood down in the 14-18 range but I've learned to work around it.
