To tell you the truth, even though I've not heard of these infamous steaks before, I'm still looking forward to them!

I enjoy them, and they are fun to make. I got the recipe from a Martha Stewart Magazine, and changed it up a little. I don't remember what the recipe was called, but I didn't like the name, so I changed the title to Ryan's world famous steaks. :)

Okay, I'm still chuckling over the fact that you are pouring through Martha Stewart.....hmmm. Still can't wait to have someone else cook for me!

Blah, blah. I'VE already cooked for you, remember? Don't buy into it, Ryan, she's pampered at home more than most should be.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, but ok..... LOL.

Hey guys! How was the read-though??? More importantly.... HOW WAS THE STEAK?

Seriously, I hope that you had a good read-through.

I don't know about you but the first cast read-through we had (on Saturday) was the first time I heard this script read. What a great experience.

I hope that yours was as well!

(you read through both scripts, right?)

-Ted

Hey Ted, yep ,we read through both scripts. The read through is actually tonight, so there'll be an update tomorrow on how it went.

Um, hello?! "Norm's World Famous Ribs" ring a bell? Yep, those & garlic mashed potatoes, etc. Yeah, I'm a little Martha.

We just got done with the read through, and I felt like it went well. I was very pleased with the actors - Norm / Rebecca / Reid - all did a great job, and I'm looking forward to seeing them in action. I recorded one of the read throughs and will be editing it along with the story boards I created in FF3D to get a beeter idea of the flow of the film, and also for the composer to work with before the shoot.

I'll leave those comments for Norm and Rebecca to make. And they are free to be honest in their opinions. :)

Thanks Ted- all went well. I'll have more updates in the morning, as I had better get back to cleaning up. That is the one thing I do not like about cooking- the dishes ......

I hear you! My wife and I have a little arrangement... I cook, she cleans. It sometimes works!

Good to hear, Ryan. Really looking forward to your films.

I nearly got chills at one point in the read where Rebecca & Reid were reading opposite of each other .... VERY impressive. I've got to step my game up (regarding my reading/part) , that's all I've got to say. :)

Yeah, my wife and I have a similar arrangement - I take out the garbage, she does the dishes ...

Yep - sometimes it works, others it doesn't :) . Although she did make a desert for everyone, which was a nice touch, and appreciated. And I do have to admit, that while I cleaned up the dinning room, cleared the plates and the like, she did do the majority of the dishes.

Me thinks everyone is trying to be like Rodriguez. Sheesh, filmmakers thinking they're cooks as well ;-)

LOL!!! I was actually a cook before I was filmmaker, as my parents taught me basic cooking skills in grade school. Although my filmmaking skills are better then my cooking skills - but I still enjoy cooking. :)
