Lens is in great shape and the pictures are of the actual item. The glass itself is in good shape. There is one minor coating scratch on the front element, but it doesn't affect image quality. I was actually unable to take a photo of
it as it is viewable at certain angles. Also, there is a little dust inside, which is totally normal for a lens of this age. I've kept them all in a Pelican Hard Case with Foam Inserts in the time I owned the lens.
Body is in good shape, with a couple of marks. Everything is functioning properly and it has to be one of the sharpest lenses I've ever owned.
Why buy this 50mm lens?
Its focus ring has been re-dampened professionally and is now the smoothest it has ever been. The aperture ring has also been de-clicked for those of you using this lens on cameras for video. I can provide proof of the services if necessary. If you're not sure why, check this link:
