you mean how he doesn't care about budget and will shoot a movie for as long as it takes. yeah that's crazy. Chris Doyle even said once that he thinks that's "arrogant".

Sorry, that's not helpful, just couldn't resist.

I wouldn't try to capture the look but rather try to match it in post. The default settings give you a good full range of info to work with in most scenarios.
