2017 TRANS AM SUPER DUTY | Shot on FS700 and A7s with 7Q's

Great job once again! Always a treat to see your Trans Am work. I think that video is very well done. Really captures the soul of those type cars. The comments at the beginning remind anyone that ever owned one how much fun they were. I like how you integrated the some of the building process and 3D and the music built up to the roading V8 sound at the end. Looks like the old O7Q combo is still working out nicely!

The 1973 and 74 SD-455 Trans Ams were under-rated and amazingly fast cars. At a time when most of the other performance cars were already dead or a mere shadow of their former selves, Pontiac went against the grain and released the baddest one yet.
Too bad GM killed Pontiac. I'm glad these aftermarket companies are doing their best to try to keep the Trans Am alive, but the 5th and 6th Generation Camaro platform upon which all these cars are based follow the 1st generation F-body (ie 1967-69 Camaro and Firebird.) They keep trying to make these new cars follow style of the 2nd Generation Trans Am (1970-1981) which are nothing at all like the shape of the 1st gen. 2nd gens had long hoods and short backs. There just is no way to force a 1st gen style into a 2nd. I understand why they all do it because of the enormous popularity of the '77 and '78 Bandit cars, but the design just doesn't work. I wish they would just go for the 1969 Trans Am design which is much more inline with the Camaro platform they have to work with.

Thanks guys.

Personally Firehawk, these new models are my favorite. BUT....I totally understand how the nostalgia of the older models you grew up with reign top dog for you liking.

My history growing up around Trans Am's was more from models from the 80's. My mom had one, my dad had one and my wife had one the first year we started dating 14 years ago. I do have an affinity for the Trans Am brand because of this and love the opportunity to be working with these cars for productions. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the discussion.

Yeah no doubt the new cars are awesome. And enormously powerful. No previous factory Trans Am made that much monster HP and torque! :)
I think it's great you get to work on those projects that you personally like. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing the next one
