GH2 2012 Lake Arrowhead Wooden Boat and Car Show - shot with GH2

Thanks for sharing. I would like to give an opinion in the spirit of improvement if that is o.k.?

In my view, the GH2 benefits from a lift in the shadows. While your footage has very nice exposure, I think it looks a bit "heavy" or contrasty to me. I don't know if this was a finished product or just put up straight from the camera. So please disregard if you already know this.

This was put up straight from the camera - no correction - I noticed that I was in Standard instead of Cinema (that I usually set my scene file to.) Is that setting more contrasty? I actually prefer a more contrasty look in my professional work, but I also like detail in the shadows.

I do not know for sure. I often use Vibrant to get more video-like color with a big low-mid to shadow lift in post. I think all of the modes trend towards having too dark of a gamma which is the DSLR "look" to me.

I think a lot of the boat shots would have been even cooler in slow motion. It would have really made the rocking and blowing flags flow a bit better. But those boats were pretty amazing. I wonder what they are worth? Thanks for sharing!
