I am selling one of my older iMac computers. This iMac was used by me to produce a television show and golf magazine in Hawaii. It has a newer, Western Digital HD and 6GBs of RAM, all upgrades I made to extend this machine's life and relevance for several more years. The machine comes packed with professional design software and fonts all preloaded. It includes Extensis Core Fusion font manager, Adobe's CS5 Master Collection, Cinema 4D, and Microsoft Office 2011. There are dozens of other commercial design/production applications as well as the entire Adobe Type I font library. This machine has it all and will work for you for years to come. I am selling it to upgrade to a 27" monitor. I can send you a list of all the applications and fonts or you come see for yourself. This machine was purchased from Apple via the University of Hawaii. It included the Applecare extended warranty but never needed service. I replaced the orig HDD with a better WD Caviar drive. $500 + PP + Shipping.
This is an nice starter set-up for a designer or multimedia publisher. You could take the HDD and move it into a newer computer in a couple of years and the software alone is worth thousands. Pretty sure you can also swap out Superdrive and go with SSD.
