20 minute short comedy

20 minute short film I shot earlier this year called "skatedance!"...not my best work, its hard DPing when your director is the lead role.

this was screened to a bunch of adult swim people and Seth Green liked it so hopefully we did something right.

feel free to tear it apart, wont hurt my feelings, I just shot it as a favor for a fellow classmate...

Well I don't know what to say except it was definatley different. I did watch the whole thing, which is a good thing. It was definately entertaining. Very strange. I liked it. Did notice interlace lines. Might want to fix that. Lighting looked decent. You might carve out your on style of filmmaking with this. Good job.

It looked pretty good. Not nearly as nice a secret canyon, but that was also a higher quality video file. I remember seeing some screen grabs of this before and they looked way better than this video. I think maybe the compression made everything a bit dull. Through that however I can tell there were some well done shots, some good dolly work and such. Were you editor as well as DP, or was that the directors job?

yeah, myspace compression is awful, I have higher quality copys but my role in the film went no further then Director of Photography, I did not edit any of it. There were major problems with producing which made my role as DP 10 times harder.
