20 liters- wanna come to Rwanda with me?

UPDATED!

In an effort to share the experience With the dvxuser community of what it's like making creative films for an NGO overseas, I'll be keeping account on my site flaretastic.com as well as here.

This particular project is called "20-liters"- the common sized Jerry can used to carry water in most of Africa. This group basically takes $40 and turns it into clean water for an entire family for a period of at least ten years. $40 is easily less money than I spend on beer and coffee in a month- ouch... That stings.

I'll be taking those interested from creative through post over the next few weeks, keeping you up to date on my blog and here daily. If you have never experienced Rwanda, I hope I can share it with you right here. Who knows, maybe you will be inspired with me. My flight leaves on friday...

Thanks for your support.

Updated Flaretastic with an excerpt from my accepted creative proposal from last week, as well as my HUGE yet tiny kit and gear list with photos. I think you be surprised how much I have crammed in a tight space.

I'm now in Rwanda and have made a few posts on flaretastic.com for what it's worth. I've gotten some great photos along the way as well, cheers.

Hey Brandon, I would love to post some more stuff and pictures here. I'm actually just taking pictures with my iPhone and using a wordpress app to upload content on that site. I don't have an easy way to put stuff on here while I'm in Rwanda but when I get home I can continue progress on here. Thanks for your interest though, sorry I can't get photos here at the moment.
