Hi!
Here's a draft version of another local commercial shot with a DVX100A. Still needs a lot of work. We shot this against a white cloth, used two Lowel Tota Lights (positioned vertically, 500W ea) to light and overexpose the background, a Lowel Omni Light (650W) + Lee 216 as key, Lowel Omni (650W) bounced off a large silver photoflex reflector for fill plus a large chinese lantern (300W) overhead. The chinese lantern softened things a little bit plus gave us a nice eyelight. I've found CineGamma_D to be a great starting point when considering extensive color correction. At first things might look a bit washed out, but excellent raw material for CC. Color corrected using SA Color Finnesse.
Special settings are: 24P, 1/48 shutter, Detail -4
I lit the foreground aiming at f2.8 for a shallow depth of field, which helped a bit in hiding the cloth's texture, for closeups and med shots anyways.
Used zebra 100% for confirming that I'd effectively overexposed the background.
Anxious to hear your comments
It's still work in progress, I'll post the final version in a couple of days.
