did u applied some destepper ? what method ?
i never could get something clean with any i tried, all of them still give me step artifacts

and how is the m42 adapter ?
 
Thanks bang :) , yeah i did apply destepper , i used Lee Wilson virtual dub script , its a very subtle change but significant one , it really solves anti-aliasing problems IMO

about the m42 adapter , i bought fotodiox adapters with and without glass ( "enable infinity focus" ) , to be perfectly honest , it doesnt really work , you can mount the lens but infinity is not achieved as far as i tried (maybe it works only with some lenses ) , instead in some strange way my zeiss 35mm f2.8, became a really good closeup macro lens , so i use it for that
