2 very odd issue i seem to be having

Hey...maybe we could think of "writing and grammar" as sort of like "pork & beans" or "Johnson & Johnson". That way it'd be a "thing", and it could be correctly referred to in the singular...

Just trying to help...

well aside from the insults you shot at me thanks for the advice. Maybe if you tried to communicate with a person with out insulting them they would be a tad bit more thankful. But if thats just the type of person you are then what can i do.

Get some thicker skin. He's right.

However much you dislike the presentation - and DXVuser is oh, so mild compared to what's out there - the advice is sound.

Because I don't know you, because I don't know anything about you, the first impression I get of you is how you communicate when you write.

Writing is the universal critical skill that everyone in production needs. Camera reports, pitches, scripts, notes - you'll be communicating with the written word, one way or another.

Maybe your text on this board is so loose because it's a casual place and hey, it's just the internet. But without insulting you or judging you or dissing you - if a letter, resume, application, portfolio or DVD-case landed on my desk written the way you're writing, it would be discarded.
