2 really quick questions

one: can someone either point me in the direction for a tutorial on how to take 60i footage and drop it into a 24p timeline and do a slowmoed clip? or make a tutorial? i tried in sony vegas 9.0 and premier pro cs4, neither worked?



two: is there going to be the good ol' frame rate hack for the camera? i know someone mentioned this earlier, i tried searching, but no luck. i would be willing to donate $$$ to a person who could do it

well... the slow motion capability of this camera is not in the 60i/1080 stuff... but the 720-60p stuff. I'm not sure how you do it in Vegas and or Premiere, but on the mac... it's a simple process of conforming the footage from 60p to 24p timebase and then it'll play at 40 percent speed (slow motion). It's not for 1080/60i stuff... for that you'd have to do some optical flow/ AE slow mo/twixter stuff...


I don't think there will be a framerate hack since it doesn't give intervals like the HVX did. I think though that a timelapse hack would be really sweet.. Or a single frame option as well... cheers
