2 Questions : Battery & Boot Camp

1-What is the story with the mah 5600's being advertised Here?

They would seem to good to be true, but this community seems to be pretty legit.

2- Signed up for the boot camp in burbank. Don't have a p2 card yet. Will that hamper my efforts to follow along? Does anyone in LA rent the cards?

And what's the word on these classes?

I have a dvxuser battery and I think it's a worthwhile purchase. It's a bit of a tight fit on the back of the camera (I have a dvx) and the casing on mine started to separate - but it is a good battery and worth the money. Jarred recommended super glue to reseal the outside casing and I haven't had a problem with it.

I have a bunch of the batteries, they are all working just fine so far. Youngest one is ~3months, oldest is 2+ years. So far so good.

I attended one of the Boot Camps in Burbank, and brought my camera with me. I never took it out of the case.

There were a few people who did constantly play with their cameras during the presentation, but I think they actually wound up distracting themselves and missed information. One guy in particular still stands out in my mind for repeatedly asking questions about things that been covered moments earlier while he was futzing with the camera.

If I were to do this again, I'd leave the camera at home.
