2 New Videos

"Hello, I am a Teen Filmmaker experimenting with a very creative genre of filmmaking"

probably the most experimental and creative videos i've ever seen posted on the internet..... period... end of story

Interesting semi-observational approach with these. As I'm sure this was just you messing around with the camera in the place, I won't talk about what your message is, or what you're trying to say by shooting these places.

However, if you're going to keep doing work like this, I'd like to see shots that are a little more... risky. You certainly kept your distance from your subjects, and while interesting to a degree, I couldn't help but want to get much closer to them. Don't be afraid to stealthily intrude on people - the old verite filmmakers did it all the time, to great success. In my opinion, people are way more interesting than passing cars or storefronts, so I'm just inclined to that approach.

Nice shots all around, though, the lack of sticks in the first piece got a little tiring after awhile. Also, nice work with the 60i slowmo... I've always wanted to give it a try on the DVX, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

everyone goofs around when they first get their camera, but what's the point of sharing these? What kind of feedback are you looking for?

Your colors and slowmo look good, but otherwise completely uninteresting.

purposeless and an unfocused way to observe and isolate something

i found them pointless

nice camera work, though

Just to let people know, these video are not meant to be taken seriously. There were done just for fun, yes they have no point, just pratice with my Camera thats all.

But thanks again for replying truthfully :)

Four Eyed, I liked the look. What settings did you use? Can you fill us in? BTW, I know what you mean. You've got to have some fun and experieiment with your camera

not sure what the whole experimentation or new genre part was to these two films but they were fun to watch. unless you mean the music... really dont get how they are different than lets say the video i took of my camp kids at a theme park this summer, just the music.
