I have octava 012 and want to record singers. Its better to have 2 mics? But to late to match octava right? So I should bought 2 new matching pair? Like Road nt4 pair? Or is single octava okay for singer.
#2 question is if have 2 mics into tascum dr100, its just 2 mono track right? Can make it stereo in post? Omg so confuse.

Stereo recording is done with two mics but using two mics doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a stereo recording. It depends on exactly how you place the mics.

What are the details of what you're recording? You said "singers" but that covers a lot of territory from one guy alone on stage singing a capella to a 100 voice choir backed by a full symphony orchestra. What exactly are you trying to do?

Actually there is guitar player but only singer wants recording for her demo real.

A single vocalist would be mono by nature, thus record her with one mic. If she's used to working a mic, try a stage vocal mic on a stand. I'd be a little concenred about not micing the guitar though. It'll bleed through the vocal mic but probably not sound so good, being echo'y and distant. You might want to discuss with her recording the guitar properly as well.
