if you had to choose. reason I ask is cuz everyone is trying to sell off gh13 for gh2. I see hackable gh1's getting cheap and its real beneficial to have a b cam. what would be your decision?

If you need video village, GH2- if your director and crew can live without that- then get 2x gh1s. Rolling more than one camera at a time can complicate things though, that may be a bigger issue (2 cameras vs 1).

I'm in production on a feature now using a GH13. Having 2 cams would be very helpful at times, at the very least you'll have a backup in case something goes wrong. That said, the GH2 will have live monitoring...that's huge. I didn't even realize how huge it was until I recently picked up a Canon 7D (for stills purposes - I had no intention of using it for video) but then I started messing around with it and I don't know how I've shot as much as I have with the GH1 without having live monitoring - I'm not going back, I'm switching to Canon! If the GH2 were available now that's what I'd rather have, but it's not - so Canon 5D and 7Ds are what we are going to use to shoot the remainder of our film.

The GH2 may still have mud issues on highly complex moving detail scenes... but it should still kick but on many shots... but I am not getting rid of my GH1.3s... I will end up having both and a af-100. Sometimes I shoot with multiple cameras and you could easily cut all three of these cams together no problem.
I often shoot with one GH1.3 in 1080p and one in 60p on a close up action shot in case I want to cut to slow motion.
