im pretty new to videography and all that stuff so bare with me
if you have two different camcorders
how would you make both recordings look like theyre from the same camcorder
is it recommended to get the two same camcorders than

If they're similarish-quality cameras, it's worth at least testing them - film exactly the same thing at the same time with both cameras set the same way as much as possible (white balance etc), then read the footage from both into your computer and compare both clips. If they look comparable, or can be made to do so with some simple colour correction or other adjustments, then you may be ok.

But yes, the best long term solution is to have two identical cameras.

I suggest you perform a more practical test. Set up simple scene and shoot it with the two cameras and cut between the two. See if it looks too jarring to be used. Do something simple like Man eats bowl of cereal. Set one camera on a wide shot and the other tighter.

Think it really depends..which two cameras?anything in mind?
oh well im going to buy a dvx100b soon and i just used to use my friends sony hd camcorder forgot wut model
i was just thinking of what camcorder i should get next because the quality of both cams are totally different
