Looks good. Any more infon on the lens?

The lens is a an old sankor 16c lens that was made, I think, in the '60s. I'd say don't use it with the DVX, unless you don't mind standing 20 feet away to get a medium shot.

It has a rear thread size of about 42mm or so, and so I had to zoom in 96% to get rid of the vignetting. I originally bought it for about 60 dollars on ebay for my GL2 when I still had it, and I made a mount myself out of a piece of wood, hose clamps, pvc pipes, and gaffer tape, screwed onto the tripod thread. I'm going to try and find one with a bigger thread. The AVI looks wonderful though.

Interesting. Love the colors

wow. thats really wierd looking then :) congrats!

are u saying the color is fro the lens? how does that work? (dont know much about lenses)

I just had the master ped. all the way down, the iris at F 14, with the chroma level at +7, the color temp at +5, and the shutter speed at 1/1000 and I got that look.

lol, I'm never that aggressive with the in camera settings. shoot clean, and do it in post.

Yep, I see how you got that look. Any info on why you would shoot with an anamorphic lens on a 35mm adapter?

I didn't have a 35mm adapter, just the lens. And I don't really do in camera stuff either, the look I got was kind of accidental. I just got the DVX on saturday so I'm still experimenting with it.

mounted the DVX to a wooden board via tripod thread, gaffer taped some small PVC pipes to the board, put the lens in place (on top of the pipe), held it down with a hose clamp.
