1st Wedding Reel

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Clicked link and all I got was ASCII code. You might try zipping it, Verizon might not like Video

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Great reel! What settings did you use? 60I?

As for the ASCII code, try right clicking and selecting Save Target As, for your browser doens't understand a WMV file.

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

NO I got it too, and I'm using a PC. Never had a problem before playing a wmv.

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Sorry. Yea verizon sucks. >:( It happened to me too. I had to right click, save as and place the ext. ".wmv" at the end. I am trying to figure it out. The browser thinks it is html file or something. Maybe I should upload the quicktime version but it just doesn't look so good, is smaller and big file. Ugh!

I shot in 30p & 24p(adv) no 60I. I think settings were:

detail -4
v detail -4
coring +5
chroma 0
chroma phase -4
color temp 0
master ped -3
cini-like_v
matrix enriched
skin tone off

squeeze mode

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

how do all these older, bald dudes get the hot chicks, no offense to any old bald dudes. I think girls are much more forgiving than guy's.

KDRUMS, use this code as your page, just change the text for
1.name you page,
2.Change the height and width value

3. Change the location spaces of where the files located on your server there's 2 in the code,

and then you'll have a nice little anchored player that plays in the page. again just cut and paste it into a blank page in frontpage or what ever.

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Nick, thank you for the code. Unfortunately the server I am using is some free web space through my ISP and it is some automated service by trellix. It does all the coding and won't let me override. I think I am going to just throw up the .mov version which I have tested and know works. It will sacrifice quality but better than frustrating people.

I will post new link shortly.

Thanks again.

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Nice ending. Got some good shots, some very nice locations. Good exposure, even in bright daylight.

The song suggested a little faster editing; maybe some shorter clips would work a little better.

Also, a number of the shots had quite a bit of space between the top of the frame and the subjects' heads -- it's so easy to do that when shooting (one tends to want to center on the eyes), but should be avoided.

Older dudes are usually more interesting conversationalists, more experienced at romance, and have more money. ;D

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Thank you David for the input. Any additional info on framing of shoot would be cool. I am still new to videography 1 year or so, anything more you could add to what I should center on would be cool.. The DVX is what really got me into videography from photography and I still have much to learn about composition. I am always so concerned about exposure etc, that any pointers on framing etc would help. thanks

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

Thank you. Real windy day. So windy that the cheesy wind screen on my microphone caused many issues in post for audio. Doh! and the dock we were on was constantly moving. Challenging for sure. The waves actually soaked everyone, but I missed that video opportunity. Too concerned about other crap. Oh well.

Re: 1st Wedding Reel

If you want, email me the clip and I'll just put it up on my site and you can post that link. I just got a website and have plenty of storage and transfer still.
