ok, so I finished my 1st dvx100a music video. and it's a heavy metal video to boot. yay. This was shot on location at a brokedown building a friend of ours owns. and the song is called "in the dark" , so the girl lost in the building is supposed to be wandering the halls of her mind in a sense. this being the case, I tried to blow all the windows out and add a heavy blue to give it an unnatural fee. the band was shot in a heavy warm for a hard contrast between the powerful music and melancholy, lost girl in her mind.

so let me know what you think.

that blue footage is the ****! I don't think warmer footage looks as slick tho. Nice.

some of the footage came out a little too dark to see on my computer. the quality of the song recording is a bit bad, not sure if its just the recording or the compression.

this reminds me of a grunge/metal video from the mid-90's.

im sure the band is please with the results. good job

I really wanted the footage quite dark. it's alot brighter full screened and/or on dvd. but I wanted it to be thick black and just the dominant features illuminated in parts. just an all around dark video. hence "in the dark" and yes the recording isn't that great. mainly because it's encoded for web and also the band did it themselves:) but on the full quality version it sounds acceptable. so cool. THanks all.
