1st Timelapse Attempt

So which way did you do it. Shoot footage in 24p for 20 minutes and then speed it up in post or did you try to do it in the camera. It looks like you were trying to do the time-lapse in the camera because of the way the clouds move. Keep trying.

Yeah, this was done in camera. Just playing around and trying to see what I could do with it. I then took the timelapse from the camera and sped it up in post. Not really crazy about how it looks but wanted to give it a try.

You could always use a digital still camera for time-lapse. That's what I do for my time-lapse stuff.

i just film in 60i then speed it up, more of a fluid motion. seeing the formation of the clouds change, if your not a fan atleast 30p.

Honestly, I should have just locked the camera down and let it run. There were some great clouds coming today and I took a 'mental health' day from work. Just missed a great opportunity to get some good timelapse, but figured I would post this.

For a first attempt, well, it is what it is.

thanks for the encouragement. I left work early today and was going to try to do another attempt at the time lapse thing, but there were no clouds and the couch was calling me to take a nap on it.

It was a little choppy, next time I'm going to lock the camera down and just speed up in post and see how that turns out.
