1st HMC wedding

Shot a wedding on my HMC yesterday ( its 1st wedding outing). Almost filled up four 16gb cards. All went well I suppose considering my wireless lapel system crapped out during the vows ( luck I had a backup mic).

White balance was a pain all day because the lighting conditions were changing so often, I thought I might struggle with exposures but this was good 95% of the time.

I used DVX as b Roll cam and got a pretty good match in cam color wise although I'm only using this footage from the ceremony.

I'll post a link to the trailer shortly and lemme know what ya'all think!

Out of curiosity, what kind of wireless system were you using? I recently got a Sennheiser g3 and I haven't had a dropout yet, even from really far distances while the groom is mic'd before the ceremony.

Hey Shaun I've looked at a few of your DVX100 work. I've never been down under before but I like the colours a lot. What's the trick behind those lush, saturated and sometimes glowing look on your videos. Good old glass filters, software filters, magic bullet or lots of painstaking colour grading? Besides your shooting skills, good Australian weather perhaps?

very nice color indeed. whats your setting in your hmc? what software edid you use for the cc?
