1st Feature Film

Hello all,

The link below is to a feature film I shot for 17 days over the course of 4 months. This is the first feature I shot by myself (DP/cinematographer), but the 2nd feature I've worked on which is currently in post production (I was B camera operator on that one). I know a lot of people don't ever get around to shooting a feature because of budget, logistic with timing, scheduling people, they may have the confidence to shoot one, etc. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to bring a feature to completion, but I've done it and I'm willing to answer questions and give tips to who ever I can help give the confidence to bring their feature to completion. Also let me mention, I shot this while working a full time job! I'm open to answering any questions about camera, lighting setups, lenses, filters used, working with multiple directors on one movie, etc. Link to the feature titled 'elliot' below. Enjoy and don't be too shy to ask questions, I'd love to help who ever I can on their journey to complete their first feature!! Thanks.

Thanks, Reggie Brown. I have not as yet watched the film, but I saw the credit listing on youtube. From what you wrote here, I assumed you were the director or producer, but of course this is the cinematography section, so it makes sense that you're the DP :)

It says it's 50 min long, so a bit shorter than what I expected, I just always assume a feature is 80-90 min minimum, but I understand 40 min qualifies. Congratulations, on completing a feature, as I always say, just completing a feature is a major accomplishment! I hope to be able to see it soon!

Thanks, OldCorpse, I updated the my post to say what my job was on the movie. I hope you'll get a chance to check it out and give feedback, or ask questions.
