anybody else watching 1883? It's on Paramount+. I haven't seen Yellowstone, but I'm enjoying 1883

Basically it's about a wagon train heading from Texas to Oregon in 1883. I think it's a lot of fun, albeit dark, and very well shot

Yes,1883. Haven't enjoyed many shows as much as this one lately. Good actors, good script and as you say well shot with good direction. Really brings out the majesty of Texas. We have a hell of a lot of outback country that has very similar vistas and feeling. Watched all of Yellowstone. Enjoyed that but not as much as I'm enjoying 1883. Really love the character, Shea Brennan. Sam Elliott sure got him nailed.
