16x9 to 4:3

First of all, everyone on this site ROCKS!!! You all have been so helpfull in the past and I just want to say thanks to all of you for all your input. So here I am again looking for some more tips. I'm trying to take 16X9 footage shot on my HVX and mix it with 4:3 letter box footage and also just plain 4:3. How can I get the 16x9 footage to show correctly on a 4:3 time line? Ultimately, all this footgae is going to a DVD. I'm sure it's simple but I just can't figure it out. Any input would be great .

in your effect palette, look under "reformat". something in there should do the trick.
