I know this has got to be covered somewhere already. I am looking for comparisons between these 3 typs of shots. I am currently researching all the equipment I will need to get for a project. Unfortunately I do not have the camera yet or I could experiment myself. So here is the situation. I am potentially purchasing 5 DVX 100a's, and the final product will be blown up to 35mm film. We plan on shooting in 24p, but there will also be some "security camera footage" that is shot in 60i as it is being captured by a lipstic camera that will be intergrated into the project as well. So my question is this. For the best possible results on the final blow up to film..... whats the best route. Also if there is a comparison shot/shots, I would love to be able to show the shots to the producers so I can explain my findings.

Thanks

Re: 16x9 streched/anamorphic/letterboxed

The anamorphic adapter produces the best widescreen images, but as for ideal for filmout -- better to ask the company who will be doing the transfer. They may have special conditions or requirements.

Re: 16x9 streched/anamorphic/letterboxed

Why don't you google that ****, or better yet, search this forum a bit? Nobody is answering because it looks like you haven't done any work to figure out the answers for yourself.

Re: 16x9 streched/anamorphic/letterboxed

take a pill speed bump, the search isn't exactly the best feature on the site. I agree though when it comes to easy question's but I don't think you need to come across negative to a new user who's trying to learn what they can

Re: 16x9 streched/anamorphic/letterboxed

Actually nobody is answering because this is the WRONG topic and I'm sure Jarred is out enjoying his saturday night and won't get to moving it to the proper forum which would probably be in the technical section . So Grant, if you move it you might get some faster answers but don't expect people to be waiting around to answer ... especially on a saturday night. Patience Danielson. ;D - CAVEMAN
