Hey guys,
I'm trying to Print to Video a project I did so I can transfer it over to DigiBeta for a film festival.
Now I have two copies of the project. A 4x3 letterboxed master (the mode it was shot in) and also a 16x9 anamorphic uprez (done through Photozoom Pro). Now when I try Print to Video/Tape in my NLE with the 4x3 letterboxed master, it's fine, no problem. However when I try it on the anamorphic, it doesn't want to play on my camera. The funny thing is, if I pause over an image in my NLE, it'll accept it no problem but when I try play it, something about the moving image makes it so it don't go through. Is there a special setting in the camera I'm missing here?
P.S. I'm not too familiar with DigiBeta dubbing but if anyone knows the answer to this: Do most DigiBeta dubbing machines not have the ability to correctly "squeeze" anamorphic video from another source, this case being a miniDV tape and make the footage look stretch? If that's the case, then I really have nothing to worry about and should just use the 4x3 letterboxed. However, if they can, I'd like to use the 16x9 because the Photozoom Pro version looks crisper.
