16gb P2 Card Trouble

Hi all--

I just got my 16gb P2 card and updated my HVX200 firmware to 4.06-00-0.00 so I can use it. After I updated the camera, I popped in the 16gb P2 card and the camera reads in big red flashing letters FORMAT ERR!

So I updated the firmware again. The same error still appears with the 16gb P2 card. The camera works fine with my 4gb P2 card.

What is going on? Please help.
 
Can you format the card in MCR mode? If not, do you have access to a PC where you can use the P2 Card Manager to format the card?
 
I am having the same problam with my P2 16GB. However my PC computer isn't recoginsing it as a drive either. My other 16GB and 8GB cards are working fine. Can anyone advise??
