16GB or 32GB P2 conundrum...

Reasonable, reasonable... now we just wait for those 1024GB cards you indicate are coming soon ;-)
 
Heh, yeah, 1TB sounds like overkill for a P2 card ... who knows if we'll ever get there. .. But that chart can also be usefull for archiving and other storage media.

How much fits on a Firestore 100 for example? .. You can get a pretty good estimate from there. How about a 500GB hard drive? Or a 1TB Hard Drive?

A 64GB card should be 170 minutes of 720/24pN, if that helps you figure out the "extra bits". I base that on an HPX500 loaded with four 16GB cards.
 
Yeah, there's always that little bit left over. For example, when your camera says "0 minutes" remaining, it doesn't shut off immediately... it actually has anywhere from 0 to 59 seconds remaining. It rounds down. So 2 8 gig cards might be 41 min 59 seconds, and one 16 gig card might be 42 min 3 seconds...
