16 gig P2 cards

Just go the 16 gigs today. I am using a Mac G4 to load footage to Final Cut. I have been using the 4 gigs and they load on the laptop fine. However the 16 gigs wont show up in the desktop. anybody have this issue?

You will need to install the latest p2 drivers from the panny site. Have you done this?

Hi,

how long does the transfer of a single card (16gb) take?

And from your experience: After copying several cards - is the workflow in FCP ok (does it find all "separate" files easily?)

I don't use FCP. But, concerning transfer times.. if you are using a pcmcia slot to offload your cards directly (or expresscar w/ duel adapter) a good round number is about 2 gigs per minute. For me, I get 8-9 minute transfer time for a 16 gig card.
