hello i have a dvx100a with the anamorphic lens on and ive had it for a while but have only used it a few times and the lens seems to be a lil soft on the far left side, like anything in the far left gets a lil blurry and out of focus. anyone know why or have any suggestions or have ran into this before.

I think this is a common occurance with this lense. However, I have never used one and so I don't know for sure. Hopefully someone with a little more experience can help you out....

I shot 2 scenes for my movie over the weekend w/ the anamorphic lens. I didn't have any trouble w/ the lens blurrin on any side, but I did Dub the tape to VHS and I noticed that the far right side was blue, but I don't think it was on the Mini DV tape, just the VHS. Go by the focus numbers in the DVX book and you're footage will look great. I finally speak from experience.
