16:9 Mask on viewfinder, 4:3 recording

Hi!

I'm new to the forum, so let me start by introducing myself, my name is Salvador Garza, I have a small production company in Chihuahua Mexico. I've been checking out the forum for the last few weeks and have found very useful information, thanks!
I just bought a DVX100A. I am wondering if anyone knows of any documented or undocumented setting that would enable Letterbox mode on the viewfinder and LCD (for composition purposes only) but actually record the full 4:3 image?

no.. you can only use tape to mark the screen, its not like the XL1 that can show you the lines.
