15mm rods. Anyone now a good supplier?

Im about to either buy rod stock or rods from any of the links you all posted. This will go into my jag35 rig. With the rods from b&h do they require threaded joiners to secure two rods together or is there male n female sides? With the rod stock r u all threading it with taps n dies? What is the standard thread? Thanks!

Also...i checked the orange manufacturer place posted in an earlier comment. The specs for the 15mm aluminum rods show it at .590 and not .49...is that the size we all want? Perhaps they have updated it.

I AM building a 35mm adapter Rail system.

I was going to use copper piping. and paint with oil based paint.

its for my ex1 and housing of the SG blade with flip module. I currently have the SG Blade Bracket.

I need info on where to get brackets from and tripod connectors and also have to rise the quick release plate

desperately need help on this.

NOT recommended to use copper, that's a flexible metal, and we don't like bendy rigs!

in other news the CF tubes i'm in the process of having manufactured are on their way, if the tolerances of this test bunch are within spec, i'll sell a test set for people to beta test

imdjay, how much are you paying for yours? i'm curious to see if they will be cheaper than hexacarbons prices, which are extremely low for the quality they put out, and no i dont work for them!

I just got in the latest test shipment and looks like they got the tolerances quite right. The next stage is deciding on a finish, so i got in two sets of matte finish, and two sets of grinded finish. the matte looks prettier, but the grinded hides wear better. after i finish QC on them i'll be selling these 4 sets to 'beta' testers. i have 2 sets of 24" and 2 of 18" , prices are 18" for 39.95, and 24" for 49.95

one of the sets is spoken for, leaving 3 open for anyone, whoever would like can request to be one of the testers.

actually a question for the general public: which would you prefer at the same price: prettier woven outside look, or plain outside look with thicker walls(stronger) as it is they are plenty strong, but i'd still like to get a consensus

Tested out the rods today. It is soooooo close to fitting but no dice...maybe if you were to figure out a way to strip the finish off of the ikea rods and it would fit.

Not bad at all for CF 12" rods. Well I don't sell carbon anymore, but I do have plenty of anodized threaded rails in 3.5", 6" and 12". Here's a pic of what they look like

I recently got my rods from Darren's site: http://wp.mediahalo.com/carbon-fiber-rods/ . I ordered the value pack, which was 5 pairs of rods, consisting of 3", 6", 12", 18", and 24" rods, for $100. They are strong as hell as well, very professional looking, with a nice finish that seems pretty tough and are complete with end caps. I put some serious weight on them to test them (something like 45lbs on a single 24" rod) and they barely flexed at all. Really happy with them, especially at a price point like his that lets me keep a selection in various lengths. I just need to find a better baseplate now.

lmao, this made my morning. first result on alibaba: "It can also improve the efficiency of the machine and bring enjoyments to the operator."
