Discovery HD rates cameras and classifies them as Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The classification determines how much footage can be used from that camera in a show. A Silver rating allows 100% of a program to be shot on that camera.

yeah would have been a nicer joke if it wasn't such an obscure joke.. no one knows what "rated silver" means.
