[FS: General] 15.4" MacbookPro Unibody 2.53ghz - $775 shipped

[lesterp]

15.4" MacbookPro Unibody 2.53ghz. The case is well used with scratches and dings and the screen has a blotch from a liquid spill but other than these cosmetics it is a 100% functional laptop (the screen assembly is from another mbp, the body was never exposed to liquid). Also has 2 vents over the internal fans which helps keep it significantly cooler. This is the first generation of Unibody style Macbook Pros, and so the battery and hard drive are easily replaceable. It has a 2.53ghz core2duo cpu, 4gb of ram, 500gb hard drive, nVidia 9600GT graphics with 512mb of ram. This generation also has an Expresscard slot allowing for esata, USB including new USB 3.0, or other inputs, making it like the current 17" Macbook Pro. I used 2 NewerTech Gaurdian Maximus external raid1 enclosures with a 2 port esata express card and it makes for very fast media storage. It has been used as a professional Avid Media Composer video edit workstation for the past year with NEVER a hiccup. This is a perfect system for someone who uses a laptop with an external monitor, and isn't anal about how their mac hardware looks. Includes AC Adapter and OS X Snow Leopard Disc.
