1394 Initial error?

So, I finally got my camera back from Panasonic after my firewire port on the camera went out. I was happy and excited until I turned it on. Now I have a whole new set of problems I can't figure out.

When I'm in P2 mode, I cannot get the menu button to work at all. the 1&2 at the top of the screen are flashing as well. Every other button works except for the menu and I cannot switch to VCR mode either.

Anyone else know how to fix this or do I get to wait another two weeks to get my camera fixed? Thanks.
 
I'll also mention that the menu button works when in TAPE mode but not in P2 mode. I record to a Firestore and that works fine. I just can't get the menu button or the VCR button to work in P2 mode.

Anyone?
