hello. i'm getting this error flashing in red on my home screen on the hpx170. after doing some research on the forums, i think the firewire port is blown. does anybody know how much this costs to fix? is there another way to import the footage? or only firewire?
i've been messing around with it a bit and have realised that if i move the cable around a bit, it stops flashing but STILL doesn't connect to the mac.. 1394 device disconnect.
