The colors look to me horrible, at the opening shot the road's color is purple.

Did anyone compared the colors of the GIT2 to those from GoPro or from the camera bundled with the YUNEEC - Typhoon G: http://www.ebay.com/itm/YUNEEC-Typh...soffType=SaleAndClearence&_trksid=p5731.m3795 ?
 
My friend got the Git2p about a week ago (mentioned it to him after seeing this thread), and he's done quite a bit of testing over the last few days.

The white balance seems to be the biggest problem with it. Just like in those drone shots, it skews purple. Also I think it's recording at 25Mbps. There's definitely some artifacting in the night time shots.

I have a couple of questions for your friend (I'll post these on the YouTube video comments as well)

How much did he pay? (Did he get in on the $100USD special from Banggood?)
What are the scenarios he figures to use this camera? Are his test scenes the "norm" for what he'll use it for? Or are there other scenarios he figures to use it?
What's his take on the overall value of the purchase? (....obviously from his perspective)
 
I can't answer the other questions, but I think he paid about $200 Canadian all in for the camera and extras. He got it directly from the Git site as far as I know.

Gotcha. Thanks. I ask because the cost plays a significant role for me. I bought one and paid $130 (USD). I ordered direct from GITUP as well. For my needs, this is a great value. For $109 USD on Banggood, great stuff!
