For sale due to the crisis in Greece and the not visible ending a 12Tbytes easyRaid Q16S-F4R3, FC 4G to SAS/SATA disk array system fully loaded with enterprise 16x 750G Seagate disk drives ST3750330NS still on warranty and a Fiber Channel PCIe 4G Apple-LSI card. All have a cost new of about more than 7.500 euros.
System was used on our post house to color grade feature films on DaVinci. We used this beauty with two MacPro’s connected using Storage Area Network (SAN) software from Tiger Technologies and we were able to do real time RGB 2k uncompressed playback from both machines at the same time. The one machine was for CC and the other was running Avid Nitris and Final Cut.
The system was set on Raid-6 and we were able to switch computers on the fly without having to move data because of SAN FC topology. That means we were able to work on the one machine and something was wrong to change room and work on the other while accessing the same data in real time.
It’s in perfect full working condition and still on warranty for the drives. Perfect for RED and ALEXA work because it has real life performance (tested and verified the last 2 years) of more than 300Mbytes/sec on Raid-6.
System specs can be found here:

We are looking for something around 4000 euro’s. Please make an offer!
We can ship everywhere.
